Flamingo Parket has been working on beautiful wooden floors since the 60s. We are proud of our professionals, who use traditional methods to make the most beautiful floors for our customers. In our family business, our staff in all departments are invaluable. They help us to provide the best service. The workplace culture is open and friendly.

Who are we?

Flamingo Parket is a family business with a long history of craftsmanship and knowledge of wooden floors. The organizational culture is characterized by short lines and open communication. Mutual fun and drive to deliver the best products and service to our customers go hand in hand. Meet our team.

What do we do?

Flamingo Parquet makes beautiful, durable wooden floors. The complete production process already starts with the raw, unprocessed wood that arrives at us. From there we dry, saw, plan, sand and oil the wood. Just as long until a beautiful parquet floor is created. Our motivated team of employees does everything to provide our customers with the most beautiful floors.

Who are we looking for?

a BE driver

(40 hours a week)

It is currently being further built up, a beautiful brand new BE combination! Can you see yourself driving this? Then read on!

In our production area, the production team completes the finishing of the parquet floors, entirely according to the customer's wishes. Aging, planing, sanding, oiling, and much more are done to deliver a beautiful floor. As soon as the floor is ready, it is packed and sent to our large warehouse. Here all floors are prepared for temporary storage, pick-up customers or for delivery. For this we have ordered a beautiful, new BE combination that is currently being built and we therefore need you to drive it.

What does your day look like?

It depends a bit on your route, but you start your day on time in Barneveld with a cup of coffee. You check whether the warehouse colleagues have placed the floors in the correct order and properly secured in the loading area. You look at the day's route and quickly go inside to grab a piece of fruit for the road. Then you go to your first customer. You ensure that the floor is neatly unloaded, where the customer wants it. This will soon earn you another cup of coffee from the customer.

After you have accessed all the addresses in this way, you return to Barneveld where you place your combination in such a way that your colleagues can easily load it again for the next day. Then (if there is time left) you roll up your sleeves to help your colleagues from the warehouse or production with various jobs until it is time to go home. One team, one task is our motto! If there are fewer delivery floors on a day, you help out in the warehouse or production, wherever you are needed. Don't be surprised if you see someone from the management team passing by on a forklift because we will all help out when it's busy!

On Friday you make sure your combination looks clean and fresh again for the next week and you join in with the Vrijmibo! In short, no day is the same here!

Who are you?

In any case, you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves. The work will mainly consist of delivering parquet floors throughout the Netherlands and sometimes beyond. You can work independently and neatly and are stress-resistant. You speak to customers in a polite and friendly manner. You are physically strong, collegial and quickly see what needs to be done. You are not averse to getting your hands dirty and are happy to help. You think along with both your colleagues and customers.

What do we ask?

  • A real go-getter with muscles.
  • In possession of a driver's license, preferably also BE.
  • No 9 to 5 mentality.
  • A pleasant, social colleague.
  • Good command of the Dutch language.
  • You are proactive, i.e. you see what needs to be done and think along.
  • Experience on the road is an advantage, but if you don't have it, you can simply gain it from us.

What do we offer?

  • A brand new BE combination for you alone.
  • Possibility to obtain the BE driving license.
  • A friendly team of employees.
  • Informal and no-nonsense atmosphere within the company.
  • A gross monthly salary of €2400 to €3000 (depending on age and experience)
  • Extensive package of secondary employment conditions.
  • 40 hours per week (less possible in consultation).
  • We work hard here, but on Friday afternoon we take the time for a nice Friday afternoon with a drink and a snack.
