Tapis from our parquet wholesaler

The Tapis from our parquet wholesaler is dried at 8% with a deviation of 1%. Especially with the somewhat wider sizes, it is important to keep the temperature and relative humidity stable throughout the year. At a relative humidity between 50 and 60%, the floor will remain most stable and the chance of seams is smaller.

Thanks to our international network, we are also able to offer non-standard products. If you have a request for a specific product that is not listed on our website or in the price list, please contact us. If a requested product is not available, we always investigate the possibilities for an alternative product that is as close as possible to the requested one.

Heat Resistance: 0,037 m2 K/W. If Tapis is laid on oak mosaic as subfloor, the Rc value must be added. This is 0,049 m2 K/W.

Warranty: 5 year warranty, only on hidden product defects. Tapis, especially in the wider sizes, is sensitive to fluctuations in temperature and humidity. Defects due to incorrect storage and/or processing are not covered by the warranty.

Treatments:

For carpet floors, the treatments as described in our price list apply. It is possible, among other things, to age, smoke or oil our carpet floors. Pre-painting is not possible. Due to the thickness and dimensions, the wood can start to work as a result of too much moisture, which can have a negative effect on the dimensions. It is also often possible to reproduce a requested product with our Tapis.
